This is a multi-media piece consisting of acrylic paint, charcoal, embroidery floss, and raw canvas. It is a representation of the feeling of not being able to do something that everyone else is able to do. At first glance, this may be a feeling of helplessness, but eventually one can find that there is power in choosing yourself.

Please note that this piece is sold and shipped as unstretched canvas due to its large size (in-situ photos depict as if stretched).

Please Select a Planned Hanging Method Below:

• As-Is: If you’d like to handle the hanging method on your own, you can purchase the piece as-is with raw edges maintained.

• Include Stretcher Kit: If you intend to hang the piece as a stretched canvas, I can include the materials necessary to stretch your piece once your receive it, as well as instructions on how to do so yourself.

• Trim Raw Edges: If you plan to frame the piece behind glass, or simply hang it as a textile piece, I will trim off the excess edge leaving ~1/2” on all sides

• If you are local (NYC), please email me after placing the order with “Include Stretcher Kit”, and I am happy to stretch it for you if coordinating a pickup is possible

Shipping time for this piece is two weeks (subject to changed based on hanging method selected).
